Bill will be helping to promote this with local radio and press interviews. Also includes an introduction from Gerry Marsden, leader of Gerry & The Pacemakers. The album will be officially branded by and sponsored by The Liverpool City Of Culture 2008 Organisation, featuring the 08 logo on the front and publicising the website and various key events around the City. Contains hits and Liverpool Anthems by legends such as Gerry & The Pacemakers, Cilla Black and Billy J Kramer as well as more obscure names such as Cindy Cole, Beryl Marsden and The Kubas who nonetheless played an important part in Liverpool's musical heritage. The audio has been digitally restored at Abbey Road from original tapes and including many rare and unreleased on CD tracks Packaged in a shrink wrapped cardboard digipack.
